AThe competition organizing committee will notify contestants and announce results via email and the official platform letter.

QCan projects that are shortlisted for the semi-finals be reimbursed for travel to Beijing? If so, how are they reimbursed?
AFor Maker Group projects that enter the semi-finals, each project can be reimbursed for the travel expenses of one contestant (the Growth Stage projects and the Maker Group projects in Beijing are not included). Please refer to the official website www.hicool.com for travel expense subsidy details.

QIf contestants cannot return to China to participate in the semi-finals/finals, can other members replace them instead?
ANo. If contestants cannot return to China to participate in the semi-finals/finals, they can apply to the organizing committee for special permission to participate using remote video.

QHow and when will the bonus be allocated after winning? Are there any other benefits of winning?
ABonus redemption
1) The winning projects of the Maker Group shall establish a company in Beijing and submit an application within one year after the competition. The bonus will be allocated after verification and confirmation.
2) The winning projects of the Growth Group will be allocated according to the requirements of the organizing committee after the competition.
In addition to cash bonuses, the competition also pledges corresponding support policies to winners, including landing services, development support, and living standards.

QWhat are the corresponding support policies regarding office space during the competition?
AOffice space policies mainly refers to rent reduction and/or exemption.
Beijing Haigao Building provides free office space for no more than three years and no more than 300 square meters for the winning projects.
The Capital International Talent Communities, Zhongguancun International Incubator, Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Beihang Liuchuangyuan, Huilongsen Liuchuangyuan, and other entrepreneurial start-up parks for overseas students may offer office space rent reduction and/or exemption support for the winning projects.
